Richmond Carers Centre workshops programme

Richmond Carers Centre runs regular workshops on a variety of topics including employment, caring for someone approaching end of life, finance and budgeting, first aid, skills training and wellbeing activities such as stress reduction, mindfulness, relaxation and back care. Taking back control

This course will run over 2 weeks with a 3rd follow up session. The course will focus on the emotional impact of caring for someone with a long term neurological condition, to learn coping strategies, and relaxation techniques.

Family Workshops

These five weekly workshops offer an introduction to different key topics for families and friends supporting someone with mental health difficulties. We will look at responding to difficult behaviour, the Recovery Approach, common communication barriers, moving on again after a crisis and the mental health maze.
