​​Overview

​Under the Carers Hub Service contract, ASCA provides expert support, advice and a support group for carers to enable them to cope with someone who has an alcohol or drug problem.

ASCA is dedicated to supporting individuals, families and the community to overcome alcohol and drug misuse through both prevention and treatment. Staff are qualified and experienced to work with people who are concerned about their alcohol and drug use.

Services include counselling for carers, a carers' self-help group. therapy groups and holistic therapies.

Are you are a carer, partner, relative or friend of someone who is experiencing alcohol, drug or other addiction related problems? If so it can be confusing, frustrating and sometimes lonely.

Sessions are facilitated by two experienced therapists. Each week focuses on a different aspect of being in a relationship with an addict, enhancing your knowledge and understanding, as well as creating a safe space to share experiences and learn from each other.
